Meetings

 We host support meetings from 12:30 – 2:30

on the first and third Saturdays of most months.

Presentations will be held at the beginning of meetings, last for about 40 minutes, and be followed by a time for questions and discussion.

University of New Mexico (UNM) Listening Session

UNM Hospital is hosting this community listening session as a part of their 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment. A Community Health Needs Assessment is a systematic process of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify and prioritize the health needs of a specific community

UNM Hospital needs your voice to understand:  

• What have your experiences been within the UNM Health system or the health system in general? 
• What programs or services can UNM Hospital provide or support to improve the community’s health and health care experiences? 

Attendees will form breakout discussion groups to share their experiences. This feedback will inform UNM Hospital’s 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment.  

Brief Bio – The meeting will be led by the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) Community Engagement team. The Community Engagement Department strengthens connections between the hospital and the communities it serves through outreach events, workshops, and trainings. By collaborating with local organizations and community leaders, we promote access to care and support health equity. Through these partnerships, we build trust and improve our community’s overall wellness.
